With over 250 employees, Seco now manages 880,000 plug-in appliances in the food retail, catering and petrol station sectors in Germany and Austria. The steady and significant growth of Seco required the introduction in 2009 of professional software for scheduling and Route planning for scheduling 80 directly-employed technicians and a number of contracted partner companies. A year later, the mobile solution FLS MOBILE was introduced just as smoothly.
The decisive factor in selecting the software was a fast go-live, i.e. low implementation and configuration costs. However, scalability and flexibility in customising the software were also important to Seco, as FLS VISITOUR needed to reliably support the growth strategy and be able to react to new process requirements.

THE SOLUTION:
The implementation project was realised FAST LEAN, and SMART as expected. Including an extensive test scenario, FLS VISITOUR was implemented in the existing IT environment and activated as a productive system in less than 3 months after the offer was submitted. The dynamic real-time planning in FLS VISITOUR guarantees a fast and efficient response to faults that need to be rectified as part of the 24-hour emergency service.
However, day-to-day business in the scheduling department also runs much more smoothly. According to Björn Stemmermann, authorised signatory and responsible for project management and IT, the FLS software has enabled a high level of transparency in the service processes. Up-to-date information on the planning status can be provided to the customer at any time, and detailed data analyses relating to the contractual relationship can also be made available.
