POWEROPT ALGORITHM:
WELCOME TO REAL-TIME AND THE HEART OF
FLS VISITOUR
After more than 10 years of mathematical research, we successfully developed an algorithm in 2004 that displays your service and sales business’s complex orders in real-time scheduling and route planning software.
Your PowerOpt advantages:
Your PowerOpt advantages:
Real-time appointments for your customers: 0.1 seconds to the perfect appointment
High flexibility when planning thanks to real-time optimisation when changes happen
Over 20% saved by driving fewer miles and spending less on dispatching
Green IT: Improve your carbon footprint

How does the algorithm work?

POWER OF OUR POWEROPT ALGORITHM
There you go: The squares
mark the locations of your employees, each of whom can process a maximum of five orders. Generate new orders
by simply clicking on any point on the map. Within seconds PowerOpt calculates the best allocation of orders to your employees and displays the cost-optimal routes. Choose either direct routes as the crow flies or street-level views of the routes by selecting "Show Routes".
And now it's your turn ...

THE UNBEATABLE FLS-TECHNOLOGY LEADS YOU QUICKLY
FROM »WHY FLS?« TO »AHA! - THAT'S WHY« – WE CAN PROVE IT …
What is the difference between 5 and 5,000 field resources? For FLS VISITOUR, there is none. We also guarantee real-time scheduling and route planning for high data volumes with no batch or overnight runs.
You want more information? Or want to experience the PowerOpt performance "live" – and preferably with your data?
No problem - in a non-binding demonstration, we will show you how to optimise your field service and realise cost savings of up to 20% after only a short time. With a comparative calculation we will show you completely new potentials with regard to your service goals!
Use the contact options at the bottom of the page to arrange an appointment for your personal demonstration.

The MULTIPLE TRAVELING SALESMAN problem
DYNAMIC TOUR PLANNING – SIMPLY EXPLAINED:
The problem of the Multiple Traveling Salesman (MTSP) – in today's use cases of the service technician or delivery driver – is a classic problem of the service and logistics industry. If the problem of the shortest route between any number of points is extended to include, for example, real-time traffic data, desired appointments, predicted maintenance intervals and order processing times (predictive maintenance and predictive analytics) or restrictions such as hygiene measures and qualifications, AI is the target-oriented technology that makes the emerging data volumes manageable and exploits new potential.
If a service technician is stuck in a traffic jam, the routes of other technicians are optimised, the customer can be informed of a potential delay or the technician is suggested an alternative and thus time-saving route - and all this is done in real time, i.e. immediately. And using artificial intelligence.
FLS CCO Christoph R. Hartel outlines the route planning problem using simple examples in the video (please switch on subtitles, as the video is in German):
