Your personal data – what is it?
Personal data relates to a living individual who can be identified from that data. Identification can be by the information alone or in conjunction with any other information in the data controller’s possession or likely to come into such possession. The processing of personal data is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (the “GDPR”). FastLeanSmart UK Limited and any of its chosen outsourced third party service providers may be involved in the processing and control of your personal data, and are referred to in this privacy statement as ‘we’, ‘our’ or ‘us’.

How did we come to acquire your personal data and why?
Under Contract: We may have an agreement or contract with you, your employer or someone for whom you perform services and we need to contact you to discharge our obligations under such contract; Under Consent: You may have provided consent in some form that allows us to contact you in certain specific circumstances; Under Legitimate Interest: Your personal data may have been provided by you or a colleague, or from multiple publicly available resources where we consolidate and filter information in order to identify organisations that could potentially acquire benefit from our products and services. We then determine that individual roles or functions within such organisations responsible for procuring products and services such as ours.

How do we process your personal data?
We may contact you via email or telephone to discuss potential work related opportunities, but only in connection with work related matters and never personal matters. We do not hold or store any information which could identify you outside your place of work. We may store your first and last name as well as your job role and email address. We do not sell or in any way share this information with any third party beyond those service providers contracted to assist us with this processing. We take steps to ensure that all our chosen third party service providers are also compliant with GDPR.

How long will we keep your information?
Subject always to your legal right to request deletion of your personal data: If there is an agreement or contract between our organisation and you, your employer or a party to whom you provide services, then we may store your personal data for as long as is required to communicate with you effectively. In circumstances where there is no agreement or contract, then it is our policy to delete your personal data after 24 months of no communication unless compelled by applicable law to retain it for longer.
